Who are the Utrecht Toastmasters?
Utrecht Toastmasters are ordinary people from all walks of life who share a common goal, to become better public speakers. We have members from not just the Netherlands but from all over the world, Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
We have not only a diversity in cultures but also in skills – teaching and training, improvisation, story-telling and business presentations. It is this diversity that allows us to learn and be creative, teaching our skills and learning others in return.
Toastmasters is not a training course, instead it is all about learning by doing. You get up, give a speech and based the reactions you recieve from your fellow members you learn your strengths and get advice on how to improve on your weaknesses.
